Frequently Asked Questions

Week of:

1. I highly recommend we Dermaflash your skin the week of your appointment. This will allow your makeup to lay smoother on your skin, and your skincare products to penetrate further into your skin. If you’re getting photos taken, the peach fuzz on your face won’t appear in the pictures after a Dermaflash treatment. (This is especially important for weddings!)

2. Moisturize your skin twice a day.

3. Drink plenty of water.

4. Don’t overdo it! Refrain from using any products that you think might break you out and products that you have not already tested on your skin. This is not the week you want to start trying new products.

The day before:

1. Exfoliate and moisturize.

2. I recommend avoiding drinking alcohol the day before your appointment because it has a tendency to make your skin look dry and puffy the morning after.

The day of:

1. Cleanse, moisturize, and apply SPF 30+, ALWAYS!

2. Put your contacts in BEFORE makeup.

3. Wear a button or zip up top so you don’t smudge your makeup when changing.

Every makeup appointment includes false lashes to complete the look. We have a variety of lash styles ranging from natural to dramatic!

This all comes to down to personal preference and scheduling. Ideally, you would get your hair done first. This will give your hair time to sit in rollers or rest before brushing out while we do your makeup! Doing your makeup last will also ensure your makeup is as fresh as possible for your wedding or special event.

We offer makeup services for any occasion, however, all services will have to be completed at our suite at 1064 Gardner Road, Suite 316, Charleston, SC 29414. We do not offer onsite services.
